More than 674,000 PwDs registered with Welfare Dept as of 2022 — DOSM

PUTRAJAYA, Feb 21 —The total number of persons with disabilities (PwDs) registered with the Social Welfare Department (JKM) as of 2022 is 674,548, representing two per cent of the Malaysian population.

Live births in Malaysia up 13 pct in second quarter of 2023

PUTRAJAYA, Aug 9 — The number of live births in Malaysia increased by 13 per cent to 105,961 in the second quarter of 2023, from 93,799 births in the corresponding period last year, according to the Demographic Statistics released by the Department of Statistics Malaysia (DOSM) today.
